Beverley Healy

PictureWinter Sun - egg tempera on gesso board, 26cm x 32cm
Beverley Healy studied Fine Art and Art History.  She has won National and International Art Awards for her painting and regularly exhibits her work in the UK and Ireland.  She has a fondness for portraiture, detail and colour and enjoys paintings that celebrate the simple beauty of life. Very early in her art career she was influenced by the rainbow palette of the Impressionists and more latterly the sensitive detail of Andrew Wyeth rendered in her favoured medium of egg tempera. She values the healing properties of art and enjoys passing on her art and craft skills to others, often running workshops and classes in the Community.
