Day30--The Last Day
We can not believe the challenge that everyone paints or draws 30minutes everyday for 30days ends today. We did it. It is a great achievement for the members who involves. What the challenge meant to us, our struggles, our discoveries, our likes and dislikes...
Lesley: ...I will carry on doing the 30 mins for March and have encouraged my group to join in having discussed with them the benefits.
Jenny: ... I found it hard to get started some days or felt too involved in my own work to then start something else… The thing I loved the most was seeing everyone else’s creations and the daily chat about art that I don’t get being an artist working from home...
Sorrel: I have felt it good to have the encouragement from everyone. It has provided some extra self knowledge... I've just looked through all the month. We've done so much in a month... I'm really proud of us all!! Also it doesn't matter if we did EVERY day as we've just done what we can. I think we don't really realise how much we actually do in a month because we're not recording it in this way. I'm very willing to carry on with you...
Caroline: ...I really have. Frustrating sometimes but it's good to be push ourselves.
Jean: ...it creates an atmosphere we can discuss art together even our dailylife. Normally everyone does her art alone but we help, support and encourage each other this time. It makes me feel so warm certainly it makes our friendship closer ever!
Kathryn: The 30x30x30 to me was a fantastic challenge- I know I wouldn’t have done this much work at this stage of the year...Now that the challenge has been done once, I think I’d be more prepared next time, preparing subjects etc, thinking of self challenges- using the experience to experiment more and with different subject and medium...
Catherine: Can’t believe we have made it to day 30 and all still contributing. Well done everyone...
